Wending Our Way Home Through The Adirondacks - Part 2

After passing through the town of Saranac Lake, I continued southeast toward the town of Lake Placid. Daphne watched the scenery pass by:

I got several excellent views of Whiteface Mountain which was not far away:

And I turned onto River Road in Lake Placid because I knew it would provide some great views:

River Road has farm fields, mountains and rivers. I would venture to guess that's it's about the most expensive land in all the Adirondacks:

Once again, Whiteface Mountain rose up directly ahead of us:

I turned back toward the highway and could see the Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumps just ahead on the right. That beautiful barn on the left is perhaps the biggest barn I've ever seen anywhere:

One last shot and I rejoined the highway headed for home:
