Nicholville To Lawrenceville, County Route 55 - Part 2

I was taking a driving tour of rural County Route 55 and seeing lots of barns, tractors and pickup trucks (see also Part 1, yesterday's post):

There were comfortable, friendly looking farm houses:

And Mike's Garage, where I have my car repaired:

A modern home with a wood furnace out back:

A convenient walk bridge to the mailbox:

An old barn with a silo:

This looked like a very old homestead:

And behind it were more old barns:

A very large home:

And this curious structure. My first thought was that it was deer stand, but it was too close to the road for that. It must have been a children's fort or play house:

This home still had chairs on its porch:

Very large, old maples kept watch over this home. But there was still more to see on County Route 55, so I'll post Part 3 tomorrow:
