Our weather has been wildly fluctuating, with heavy snows, ice storms, warmer days with rain, and then cold days once again. The dogs and cats spend most of their time indoors, either in the kitchen (using the collection of beds and pillows on the floor) or in my bedroom with me:
Six happy campers: Clover, Bugsy, Jack, Fergus, Seamus and Daphne:
Daisy's upper respiratory infection has healed and her eye appears to be as good as it's going to get. She's made the transition from being dumped and abandoned at the barn to pampered house pet:
All five dogs in their back yard during one of our thaws:
Daphne and Clover seldom use the dog house, but it's there if they feel the urge:
Fergus, Jack, Daphne, Rocky and Clover:
Clover and Daphne:
Big ol' Seamus, though only two thirds as big as he used to be (since his diet):
Daphne and Seamus, guarding the dirt road from inside their fenced yard. If any burglars drive by, they'll bark loud enough to warn the world:
Daisy got medicine, mixed in with canned cat food and meat flavored baby food for many weeks on the kitchen counter. Even now, long after they have ceased, she comes to the kitchen, searching for more, twice a day:
Rocky is showing his age and is not very active any more. But he's warm and comfortable and gets along with everyone:
A collection of pets in the farm house kitchen - Clover, Bugsy, Jack, Fergus, Seamus, Daphne and Rocky. It's no wonder my pet food bill is so high:
