Wintry Beauty Along A Rural Road - Part 1

It certainly wasn't the first snow of the season, but it was the first "real" snow - a snow which fell, wet and slippery, from Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon. I braved the roads to buy a bag of grain for the cows and then, noticing the beauty all around me, decided to take a driving tour. I chose the little dirt road which bisects my property and leads off through the woods and farm fields. So my first photo was of my own cattle, searching for something green beneath the snow.
