The Night Before Christmas


'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house:

 Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse:

 The stockings were hung by the chimney with care:

 In hopes that a St. Bernard soon would be there:

 The pooches were nestled, all snug in their beds:

 While visions of ham bones danced in their heads:

 Daphne and Draco were ready to sleep:

 While from back in the corner I heard not a peep:

 Draco snoozed on a perch, from which he looked over:

 While Bramble and Rocky shared a dog bed with Clover:

 I exclaimed as I saw them, and turned out the light:

 Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night:
