
There were mountains in every direction, some close by:

And some farther away:

Some were very high peaks:

And some were more modest in height:

We did not stop at Marcy Field since the dogs had just had a rest stop at the cemetery:

And before long we were on the main highway and headed south toward Albany. I stopped at the high peaks rest area with its Adirondack styling:

And small mountains backed right up to its parking lot. But from there until arriving at home, the ride was high speed and utilitarian. We arrived home and then I got to download lots of photos and begin the long editing and selecting process:
