It had taken us six hours to arrive at the farm, but arrive we did. The dogs got comfortable while I went down in the cellar to turn on the water. This is one of the few photos I have which includes all six dogs:
The winter sun was beginning to set and apparently I was not the only one looking forward to bedtime:

The sun had almost set and we were a happy family settling in for the night:
I cooked myself dinner, listened to Canadian Public Radio and prepared for the day ahead. But I'll post about that tomorrow:
