I was stumbling around on a recent early morning, heating up some coffee to get me jump-started. I noticed two of my canine friends watching me intently and side by side. They were buddies, Seamus the giant Poodle and Winky the cranky little old Pekingese. I know it won't be long before Winky joins the ranks of beloved dogs who have passed on, so I cherished this moment, their friendship and the peaceful morning scene.
