With a snowstorm on the way, I decided to drive to town and stock up on groceries, taking a short driving tour along the way. I chose McIntyre Road, which began in wooded country:
But soon I began to see handsome farm houses:
This was indeed farm country, with lots of woodlands bordering everything:
This small home had two giant silos out back. I'm guessing the former barn and home had long since disappeared, with only the silos remaining:
A little farther on, I could see that there were still a couple of outbuildings near the silos:
A sizable firewood operation:
And a spectacular farm house and barn. Notice the maple sap buckets hung from the trees:

I only noticed one mobile home when I snapped this picture, but now it seems that I see three of them, all in a row:
McIntyre Road was rather short, running between Highway 11B and County Route 47. So my driving tour came to an end and I continued on to town to buy enough groceries to see me through the coming snowstorm:
