Discovering Tiny Skerry, New York - Part 2

I had brought the dogs along with me for a driving tour to tiny Skerry, New York. We'd driven about twenty miles southeast and entered the settlement to have a look around:

There were old barns:

And farm houses:

Modern homes, such as this log home:

And old, ornate homes such as this one. I realized that I had seen this house before - when I had made a driving tour of Reynoldston, New York. I checked when I got home and indeed, they are only 4.6 miles apart, though both settlements are so tiny that it's difficult to know where one ends and the other begins:

This old farm house looked comfortable and all ready for Thanksgiving dinner:

A friendly house in Skerry:

A sizable old farm house with a big barn out back, still a working farm:

Tractors, barn and horses:

Old abandoned barns alongside the road:

I passed this impressive stone home:

And this old, abandoned house:

This home looked comfortable and friendly as I drove out of the tiny settlement of Skerry, but my driving tour wasn't quite over yet. I'll post Part 3 tomorrow:
