Scenes From The Farm House

We'd driven all the way to the farm from Albany, hiked in to Allen Falls and toured Catherinesville on Sunday. I was tired, and so were the pooches:

The floor pillows in the farm house kitchen were popular spots:

Seamus was especially tired from our hike and stretched out over the old heat register (no longer used). Wally and Madeline were resting in the next room:

I'd brought up a little bedside table with me, but it needed painting. On a whim I'd purchased a can of "Red Delicious" which looks pink when first applied, but dries to a nice, darker red:

The kitchen table is the favorite spot for all of us in the house, at least when we're not in bed:

Seamus managed to  haul his butt over to the floor pillows. He barely fits, but they are so close together that he can use several:

I decided that I was tired also, and went upstairs for a quick nap. The dogs were waiting for me when I got there:

Winky often sleeps on the that big dog bed, but this time chose the carpet:

I carried the newly reddened table up to a spare bedroom and set it in place. For now, it's the only piece of furniture in the room:
