Pictures Of Comfort And Ease

The dogs and cats of my house seem to live a comfortable life of much sleep. Perhaps they take after me and have adopted my preferences. So when I snap a photo of them, it seems they're almost always lounging comfortably. In this case, it was Jack, Daphne and Clover sharing a floor pillow:

Georgette was nearly always on her bed atop my kitchen table, but lately she's gotten bolder and begun strutting around, ignoring Bugsy and Daisy, her former enemies (in her mind). They were not really mean and have reacted by staring at her, not trying to chase her. Things are looking up for Georgette:

All five dogs share the bedroom with me and the guinea pigs at night - and during the day if I nap, watch television or read. That's Meghan, the guinea pig, visible in the cage at the right:

Bugsy, Daphne, Clover and Fergus in the popular kitchen corner:

Bramble's former bed has gradually been taken over by Daisy:

Bramble is getting old and has mostly deserted his former bed to spend time cuddling with the dogs in the kitchen corner:

Seamus and Fergus have decided they like to sleep on the rubber yoga mat behind my computer chair - even when I'm not there:

Bramble and Clover have become nearly constant friends and can be found most of the time cuddled up together in the kitchen corner:

Another kitchen corner collection: Bramble, Clover, Daphne and Jack:

 Jack, Bramble, Clover and Daphne:

Daphne, Bramble, Fergus and Clover. Notice how Clover is laying her head up against her buddy, Bramble:

Wait a minute, these dogs aren't sleeping! Oh, but they soon will be. I let them upstairs with Daisy and Bugsy while I prepared a bit of canned cat food for the two elderly cats, Georgette and Bramble. The dogs were waiting for me at the top of the stairs:
