I'd begun on Snell Road, but it turned out to be too short and had only
one house. So I next began touring Brigham Hill Road in the town of
Moira (see yesterday's post). This old home had not been lived in for a long time:
And an old concrete block barn sat right up next to the road, so close that it was difficult to get a photo of the whole thing:
This lovely old home still had what looked like Victorian Era windows, lots of interesting stuff on the porch and bird houses scattered across the yard:
A family farm house behind giant old Maples:
Brigham Hill Road came to an end and I turned onto Taylor Road here. I was fascinated by that ramp, which must have been for cats to come and go at will:
And behind the house in the above photo were garages and outbuildings:
A nice red barn behind this home:
This home had a wonderful front porch, but clearly the front door was not used in wintertime. I don't use mine either, and for the same reason - too much snow:
A rather new home:
And a sky blue house and garage:
Another newer home, this one flying an American flag. Taylor Road was taking me gradually uphill, and I had more yet to see. I'll post Part 3 tomorrow:
