Boisterous Bevy Of Blissful Bovines

I was out doing the morning chores and the temperature was frigid and the wind was gusting, making it nearly unbearable. I'd given the cows some grain and then brought the tractor around to clean up the night's manure:

I shooed the cows outside and, instead of huddling against the cold winds, they began to play - five half ton cows, acting like calves. I took off one glove and my hand was so cold that I could barely operate the camera. You can hear the wind howling as the cows played on the hard, crusted snow. But they were happy and having fun:
