Pets At Home

Bugsy is a quiet character, and spends most of his time napping or silently contemplating the mysteries of me and the other animals in his life:

And the little dogs still collect on the pet beds and floor pillows in the kitchen corner. Seamus doesn't often join them there anymore:

Instead of joining the little dogs in the kitchen, Seamus usually hangs out in the computer room. He used to lie on the yoga mats, but is increasingly likely to just stretch out on the hard floor. Besides being less comfortable for him, it also makes it more difficult for him to stand up:

Daisy likes the cat beds atop the furniture so she can relax and keep an eye on us at the same time. She is also positioned to be petted whenever I walk by:

Bugsy likes to join the dogs on the big, green floor pillow. Notice that Fergus is wearing his absorbent belly-band. He and Jack started peeing in the house again, so I got out the belly-bands:

Daisy and Jack watched me in the kitchen:

Another kitchen corner collection: Bugsy, Caspar, Daphne, Clover and Fergus:

It's been a hot summer so far, so Jack dug himself a hole in the roots of a small maple tree. He gets plenty of shade plus the cool earth surrounds him:

The dogs love their ramp, partly because it gives them a good view of the town road, but also because the Rugosa roses offer shade:

Seamus likes to nap under the maple tree with Jack, but he also lies down in the shaded, soft grass next to the fence:

This was supposed to be a flower picture, but when I saw Fergus in the background, I decided to make it a pet picture instead. Two of my favorite things, dogs and flowers:
