Dogs And Cats (And Guinea Pigs) Rule The Day

Bramble, who spent most of his life shunning human contact, has had a change of personality in his old age. Now he enjoys attention, and prances around the house as if he was the king:

And the kitchen corner remains the preferred gathering place. This collection included Jack, Fergus, Bugsy and Clover:

Seamus, who certainly didn't fit on the cushion he chose, and Daphne:

Seamus has been feeling lively since I added vitamins to his diet:

The cutest photo of the day: Daphne and Clover:

Clover and Bramble, longtime friends and cuddle-buddies:

Upstairs in my bedroom, safe from the cats, Meghan saw my camera and was hoping it was edible:

Ruby and Meghan get a half head of Romaine lettuce and a full carrot each morning - plus guinea pig pellets. They are getting - um, pleasantly plump from it all:

Georgette sleeps most of the day atop the kitchen table. It's not all that sanitary for eating my meals, but she does not like other cats and this his her territory. At night, Bugsy and Daisy go upstairs with me, so I close the door at the bottom of the stairs. That gives Georgette (and Bramble, who doesn't bother her) the freedom to roam:

Bramble also has his own personal bed, which no one else gets to use:

But everybody can share the dog beds and floor pillows in the kitchen corner. This collection was Jack, Bugsy, Clover, Fergus and Daphne:

I'll end this post with a photo of Daphne, Clover, Bramble and Fergus:

  1. It is very kind to let Georgette use the kitchen table. And knowing and appreciating that she doesn't like to be bothered. That's someone who truly has your back! From Ohio
