Happy, Lazy Dogs And Cats

Jack is still quite new here, but he's made himself completely at home:

Seamus, Fergus and Daphne still collect themselves into a heap behind my computer chair. I have to be careful not to roll it backwards and hit them when I stand up:

And Draco positions himself atop the dog crate next to the computer. My animals want to be sure I can't pay too much attention to what I'm doing:

And speaking of the computer, every time I get up for a cup of coffee, I return to find Bramble in my chair. And he doesn't leave without complaint:

Jack does not yet join the dog piles, except at bed time. He gets quite cuddly when it's time for bed:

Sometimes, though, Jack uses PeeWee's old dog bed. I still section off my bedroom with baby gates. It helps to prevent doggy "accidents:"

The month of March began as a fierce winter. When things began to warm up, there was so much snow that it still took almost the whole month for it to melt. It is not, in fact, all melted even now:
