Hewittville, New York - Part 2

I was taking a driving tour of the lovely hamlet of Hewittville. This photo shows a typical scene, with a well kept house, a brown barn in the background and extensive fields between it and the next house:

This home was set off nicely by the red buggy:

And the board and batten siding gave this home a rural look:

A nice front porch with screens and a garage for wintertime:

A red door for a focal accent:

A pastel green home:

And one of the many riverfront homes. I couldn't keep very many photos of those homes because I was shooting into the sun whenever I snapped those pictures and most were not good enough to keep. But this photo will give you an idea of the pleasant nature of those homes' location:

The sign read "Caution, Puppy Xing"

I'd wager this was an old farmstead, sitting beneath an ancient maple tree:

There were woods everywhere:

Another riverfront home, this one with a raised deck out back for lazy summer evenings:

And the last photo of Hewittsville is this unusually shaped home with its woodsy setting. Yes, I found Hewittsville one of the nicest hamlets in the area - an area chock full of nice hamlets:
