Funny And Horrifying

Let's begin with the warning sign which most everyone has seen, or at least everyone who has a five gallon pail in the house. This is typical, that is to say both monstrous and giggle inducing simultaneously. Well, my tractor is loaded with such signs, so I thought I'd take a few photos and turn it into a blog post. Yes, I take these warnings seriously, but I do think the photos are funny:

This scary picture is on the arm of the bucket loader to warn me that if I lift the bucket up too high, sparks may fly out of my head:

And if I drive on unsteady ground, the tractor might throw me like a bucking bronco:

And if I lift any giant beach balls too high, they may roll back on me before I get to the water's edge:

Or the tractor may spring to life, scoop me up in its bucket and toss me out, leaving my hair a veritable fright wig. Or, if I fail to feed it sufficiently, the tractor might devour me:

I would never stick a screwdriver into an electrical circuit, but the picture of the rear wheel sucking up the man's leg should provide the biggest caution:

Eight pictures on one sign, which you can enlarge if you click on it. You'll see more ways the tractor might eat you:

Seven more hazards. My favorite is the poor guy running from stones being thrown by his tractor:

But the best of all, the pièce de résistance, the warning sign which inspired this blog post. It simultaneously frightens and amuses me. This poor farmer is wrapped up like a fork full of limp spaghetti. So now you know how I amuse myself on slow days. Who would have thought that a tractor could provide so much sick humor in its attempts to warn of dangers?:
