Seamus likes to sprawl out his gigantic body on the floor beside my computer chair, and he doesn't get up when I leave to get another cup of coffee. He'll get up if he hears the crinkling of food wrap or the back door opening, though:
The dogs love to be outdoors in their run, at least when the weather is pleasant. If it's hot and sunny, they like their ramp, which offers them shade. In Seamus' case, it also makes it easier for him to stand up. Getting on his feet is becoming more difficult as he ages. It's a good thing he lost so much weight or he might have been lame by now. These three dogs are Daphne, Seamus and Fergus:
Indoors, the best spot in the house for both dogs and cats is the kitchen corner. This collection is Bugsy, Clover, Rocky, Bramble and Jack:
Daisy practices that ancient feline trick of "Pet my belly. I promise I won't bite you (ha ha):"
Clover likes to curl up beneath the roses, surrounded by tiny yellow Wood-Sorrel flowers:

Bugsy has claimed the top of this former lamp table. He took care of the lamp which was in his way a long time ago. That's Bramble on the floor. I think they look like a pair of tough teens on a street corner, smoking cigarettes and looking for trouble:
Jack, sprawled out in the grass by the fence while I mowed the lawn:

Enjoying a summer day: Jack, Clover and Fergus:
The last photo of the day is again in the ever popular kitchen corner: Fergus, Seamus, Clover, Daphne, Jack and Rocky:
