I was driving the Morley-Potsdam Road and, because of such wonderful, rural scenery as this barn and silo, was snapping photos along the way:
A large and well kept farm house:
This home didn't look like a farm house but I liked it so much I snapped a picture anyway:
A classic old barn and two smaller buildings, way up on a hill which was still covered with snow:
This home still had Christmas decorations up and I thought it looked so happy that I snapped a photo:
This lovely old barn sat right up next to the road:
A farm house of brick with a beautiful front porch and a barn out back:
Lots of hay for hungry livestock:
And speaking of livestock, there was a herd of Black Angus at this barn:
This spectacular old barn still had the old style square silo and well kept wooden fences. As you can tell, I really love old barns. But this was the end of my driving tour as I was entering Potsdam:

Morley-Potsdam Road - Part 1
I took these photos along Morley-Potsdam Road on my way home from the gun store. There was so much rural beauty and it was such a lovely day that I couldn't resist:
These appeared to be old barns, but they sure were kept up nicely:
An old farm house:
And an old barn with silo, feed bin and John Deere:
This home may not have been a farm house now, but I'll bet it began its life as one:
An abandoned barn, sitting far off the road. I had to use my zoom lens:
A magnificent barn which looked to me to be new, but built in the old style:
A classic old barn, silo and wrapped hay bales:
Farm house with multiple outbuildings in the back:
An old sugar house which didn't appear to be used anymore. But there was still more to see on Morley-Potsdam Road and I'll post Part 2 tomorrow:
