Beautiful, Snowy McIntyre Road In Stockholm, New York

With a snowstorm on the way, I decided to drive to town and stock up on groceries, taking a short driving tour along the way. I chose McIntyre Road, which began in wooded country:

But soon I began to see handsome farm houses:

This was indeed farm country, with lots of woodlands bordering everything:

This small home had two giant silos out back. I'm guessing the former barn and home had long since disappeared, with only the silos remaining:

A little farther on, I could see that there were still a couple of outbuildings near the silos:

A sizable firewood operation:

And a spectacular farm house and barn. Notice the maple sap buckets hung from the trees:

More sap buckets on Maple trees, with a red outbuilding, possibly a sugar house, out back:

A modern home in forest colors behind the trees:

This old homestead was sure picturesque:

I only noticed one mobile home when I snapped this picture, but now it seems that I see three of them, all in a row:

McIntyre Road was rather short, running between Highway 11B and County Route 47. So my driving tour came to an end and I continued on to town to buy enough groceries to see me through the coming snowstorm:
